I will divide this post in separate parts so the post will not be too long.
This post is dedicated to people that wish or thinking about joining Entropia Universe comunity or just started as Entropia Universe colonist.
This game is similar to other MMORPG games, yet so much different due to only fact - it is based on real life economy. That means it is much harder to start in this game as close to nothing is for free. I will try to help you out by pointing out most common mistakes newcomers do or might do.
First thing about getting your first PED's (Entropia universe currency). Generally there are only 2 free ways to make them and still only a small amount, don't forget company that created this game also want's to earn money ;)
1st method is called "sweating". It means you will need to gather sweat form animals using a device that every colonist gets, when they enter the game. This method takes huge amount of time, but on the other hand it kinda makes you feel the value of PED's. Sad news is that prices for sweat dropped dramatically over the ears but people still buy sweat for about 1-2,5 PED's per 1000 sweat bottles. And it would take about 2 hours to get that much sweat.
2nd methos is walking around, while looking at the ground, some times you will see some items pop up and when you walk further away from them they disappear. If that happens you should stop and walk back, the item will reappear . The items that can be found this way are different fruits and berries, dung, stones. True this way is based on luck, but some stones are very valuable and in bigger amount's could bring you about 50 PED's.
That is about it, there is another way to get your starter money. It is called depositing - you will transfer your real life money to EU at a rate of 1$ for 10 PED's. Some people don't even like the thought about depositing, others think it is ok since you do pay monthly fee for other MMORPG's and you could make about same amount of deposits monthly (if you can and wish to do so). Although you should remember one rule, never deposit more then you can afford to loose, as most people can get carried away in a game.
